Phase: Conceptual Design to Design Development

The stacked box design serves is a key massing move that bridges the large scale office buildings with the pointy residential blocks in downtown Vancouver. This architectural approach not only reflects the dual contextual nature of its surroundings but also opens up an opportunity for much needed terraces as breathing space for the occupants. The entrance is crafted to be prominent and easily identifiable, drawing attention from pedestrians at the street corners. The generous setback of the lobby area creates a seamless transition between the Pocket Park and the sidewalk thereby fostering a sense of openness.
